Jared Vega is a 2024 SS/IF with a 6-1 181 lb. frame from Guanica, PR who attends Albergue Olímpico Baseball Academy. A bigger and physical build with some strength to him. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who worked out at the position. The hands worked out front well and the throws came out good working across the diamond. He had a long arm stroke and let it eat with strength across the diamond. Throws were at 91 mph to first base. A right-handed hitter who swings hard with good intent. He had a ton of bat speed and physicality in the batters' box. Aggressive move through the zone with the barrel, doing damage with some juice that is present. Plenty of impact off the barrel. Produced a 92 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Named to 2023 Sunshine East TP List. Great student.
