Austin Foglietta is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Salem, MA who attends St. Mary's. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works only from the stretch, short and quick arm stroke to three quarters slot, creates angle to the plate, fastball worked 78-80 mph with good arm side life, showed the ability to work the fastball to both sides, mixed in slow curveball with gradual depth. Hits from even based stance with leg lift trigger, inside hand path with length to stroke, gets into lower half well, showed some contact skill. Took outfield reps, shows solid first step quickness and willingness to attack the ball, lines up the ball and works through it, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Very good student.
