2019 PG Florida Top Prospect Games at Miami
Ryan Skelly is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit HS. Lean, athletic frame with broad shoulders and plenty of room to fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Big side step into a leg lift above the belt with athleticism throughout. Quick arm stroke with some length in the back but very on time. Arm is quick and projects combined with additional physicality. Fastball topped out at 89 mph with good life at times to the arm side. Good feel for working to both sides of the plate with command and intent. Throws with some effort but doesn't hinder ability to throw strikes. Curveball flashed some tight spin and was best when thrown hard with 11/5 shape. Changeup was flashed in the low-to-mid-70s with straight action. Generated a good amount of swing and miss on the fastball. Good student.
