Macon Leppert is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Blythewood, SC who attends Blythewood. Longer, lean frame with good athleticism and plenty of room to add more physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 7.09 seconds. Primary position C, showing good lower-body flexibility sitting in deep behind the dish. Small pre-pitch step to get to transfer. Firm glove action to clean midline transfer and a bit of a longer exchange to throw. Present arm strength, online throws with the occasional one hop to the bag. Accuracy with feeds up to 81 mph and a pop-time best 1.98 seconds. LHH using a taller and upright stance and small hanging leg lift for timing. Lower handset that really works here. On plane bat path to lofted impact that projects for above average power longterm. Well timed mechanics with a pull oriented approach that works with his hand strength. Ball gets off his barrel quickly. Definitely projects as an offensive catcher and a prospect to watch closely in the coming months.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
