Grant Trautweiler is a 2020 LHP/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Braden River. Medium and slender frame, athletic. Only pithed at the event, primary left-handed pitcher whose fastball tops out at 84 mph, pitches exclusively from the stretch, deceptive delivery that starts with a belt high leg lift, arm is taken back to a long arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, creates a tough angle to the plate, arm is quick and the ball jumps out of his hand, utilizes a short stride down the mound and a crossfire delivery, works out over his front side and showed the ability to get his pitches to both sides of the plate. Fastball shows life to armside and the ability to spot it up well with good command, mixes in a curveball with 1-to-7 shape and hard lateral breaking action, each pitch comes from a similar slot and tunnel.
