Justin Nock is a 2019 C/RHP with a 5-7 158 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Orange HS. Compact strong catcher's build. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a bent knee stance, short and direct line drive swing, high contact approach and handles the barrel well, pull to middle field contact, consistent timing and mechanics. Shows good arm strength behind the plate, gets rid of the ball quickly, 2.02 best pop time, good game throws, tends to come up early when blocking balls. Also pitched, simple turn and throw delivery with a long stride out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight and thrown for strikes. Used a knuckleball as his change up and it was pretty good, hid the pitch well and threw it for strikes with minimal spin.
