Cayden Gibson is a 2024 SS/RHP, C, OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from O'Fallon, MO who attends Fort Zumwalt West. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and developing build. Works through the ball with quick approach and throws across the diamond at 74 mph from shortstop. Secondary right-handed pitcher with fastball up to 71 mph and curveball in the 62 mph range. Coil load over the rubber with higher lift and longer arm swing behind getting down the slope with a 3/4 arm-slot delivery. Athleticism translates to the outfield with throws to the bases at 72 mph from a side-gather and exaggerated crow hop. Uses his feet to get around the ball with direct-line momentum on throws from the outfield. Left-handed hitter with a wide base, slightly open and high-hands stance in the box. Toe tap trigger and short stride to square with high back elbow slot. Linear bat path through the zone with more impact as his frame matures and adds strength. Controlled the barrel in the box while making hard contact to all fields. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
