Samuel Perry is a 2025 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Westport, MA who attends Diman Reg Voc Tech. Medium frame. Square feet and rhythmic kick to belt height. High effort with up-tempo actions down the mound. Full arm swing with a tension free three-quarters release. Excellent life to the running fastball. Slider has sharp two plane depth. Better than average high school offering with tight spin to it. Good depth. Adds tilt to the curveball. Commands all four pitches. Overpowering hitters. Good straight change to the left-handed hitter. Easy outing to take in. Overall, athletic with stuff and command. In the outfield, he charges well with double shuffle as he gathers and loads up to a high three-quarters release. Solid arm strength, would like to see a play downhill more often. Right-handed hitter, wide base, even feet, and high back elbow. Initial move is a stride that gains decent separation. Steep path as he enters the zone disrupts his ability to consistently impacted it out front but possesses legit strength when he squares. Very violent through the zone. Approach geared middle to pull. 5.12 40-yard. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
