Dawson Vaughn is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Pendergrass, GA who attends Gainesville. Long and loose athletic build, very projectable physically. High leg raise delivery, lands open out front, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, gets nice running life at times. Throws his upper 60's curveball often and does a good job of landing the pitch for strikes, curveball should tighten up as he develops more arm speed. Good all around athlete who had a good event as a third baseman, has very good infield arm strength and makes accurate throws, hands work well and he has a good first step to the ball. Right handed hitter, has a rotational upper body swing, swings hard and creates some bat speed, showed an accurate barrel and flashed power to RCF when he got his arms extended. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
