LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 National Showcase
Rene Ramirez is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus Senior High. Strong framed build with a well-defined lean frame that has filled out. Primary catcher who popped a 1.95 time in drills. Very athletic out of the crouch with good strength and accuracy to his throws. Solid carry, replaces feet well and gains ground with ease. Very good showing. Left-handed hitter, spread stance with leg lift trigger and slightly open stance. Gets into launch awfully well, heavy hands turn the barrel over with authority. Dangerous hands through the zone and big power potential. Loud juice and power from the left side, looks the part behind the dish too.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
