Nic Miller is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from St Charles, IL who attends St. Charles East. Recorded a 6.65 sixty yard dash at the event. Lean and athletic frame with a medium build. Primary infielder. Miller showed really good feel for infield during his round of GB's. Longer arm action with a rotational finish. Throws come out with some zip and carry to them. He moves well on the infield with some quick twitch athleticism. Good body control. Projectable infield actions. Secondary right handed pitcher. Lower three-quarters arm slot. Arm action is quick with will loose flexibility. Some effort in delivery but showed solid feel for the strike zone on the mound. Fastball had varying action between straight and arm-side run. Developing off-speed pitches that were thrown with conviction and good arm speed. Right-handed hitter. Hits from a wide base with a minimal stride and loading pattern. Lower half works well through the swing and generates some power. Smooth swing that uses mostly middle-to-opposite field contact. Quality approach. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Fall Midwest Workout Showcase Top Prospect list.
