Mitch Voit is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Whitefish Bay, WI who attends Whitefish Bay. Medium ,athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 6.69 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, side step up to a higher leg lift, some gather on backside prior to coming down the mound. Fuller and online arm stroke through the backside with present arm speed, works to a three-quarters release point. Fastball shows some carry through the zone, topped out at 89 mph, shows running life to the pitch and pumped the strike zone. Comfort in pitching backwards, generates deception with the curveball up to 75 mph, 11-5 shape through the zone and showed a quality changeup at 82 mph with late life. Sound defensive actions in the infield with big arm strength across the diamond, clean actions and repeats, active hands out front at the ball. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; keeps hands inside the ball, occasionally opens front side early in swing, shows best contact to pull side when squared and on time. Good student. Verbal commitment to Michigan.
