Raymond Rodriguez is a 2020 C/IF with a 5-8 200 lb. frame from Salinas, CA who attends Everett Alvarez HS. Shorter frame with a strong build and broad shoulders. Ran a 7.87 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Long arm action with softer carry to the bag. Stays low in stance and when coming out. Throws topping out at 69 miles per hour and popping a 2.19 during workouts. Righthanded hitter with a short swing path and good hand strength at contact. Keeps timing and repeats. Pull side approach with the ability to handle the barrel.
