2026 PG Indianapolis Indoor Showcase
Keagan O'Brien is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel. Medium athletic build with some present strength to continue to build on. 4.69 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense who also has potential on the mound. Moves well to the ball on defense and carries momentum into his throws, some energy at release, fielded the ball cleanly off his front foot, very good arm strength with some accuracy. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance with a high hand load and hanging front leg lift timer, has some bat speed with a line drive swing plane, worked mid field with good consistency and barrel control. Took a turn on the mound and and has two-way potential as a pitcher. Works from a high leg raise delivery with a long and loose arm action. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with nice running life down and some ride up. Curveball was a good pitch with late bite and good power. Also threw a quality change up with fade and tumble and nice arm speed. Good student. Named to the PG Indianapolis Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
