Cameron Ray is a 2021 OF/2B/SS with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Briarwood Christian. He showed good speed with a 6.82 second sixty. A primary outfielder with medium build. In the outfield he worked aggressively to the ball fielding it on the side into a clean transfer, his arm works long and loose through the back with some whip out front at the release point. On the infield he showed athletic quickness with the glove working out front before funneling the ball into his mid line. Right-handed hitter, starts with a spread base and crouched stance, the barrel works uphill through the hitting zone working best to the pull side with some quickness in the hands.Excellent student. Named to the 2020 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
