Khristopher McRae is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Stephen F Austin HS. Strong and athletic build, pretty mature physically.. Drop and drive delivery, gets coiled well over the rubber and gets lower half drive to the plate, varies his arm slots and timing frequently but to the detriment of his command. Fastball topped out at 83 mph from a high 3/4's slot, mostly 77-78 from lower slots. Throws a short mid-70's slider that gets off barrels well as his best breaking ball, will let up on it for more depth but less spin at times. Developing change up. Right handed hitter, has some strength in his swing from a pull approach, can get the ball to jump hard on his pitch.
