Caleb Burr is a 2021 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Mount Holly, NC who attends East Gaston. Large frame with an already gilling out build showing broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 6.70 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, working into the baseball with athletic actions. Scoops it up with confidence before working into transfers. Releases with intent as he threw it 82 mph during drills. Accurate around the bag and proved he could maintain accuracy from different arm slots. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a rocker step to a slight leg lift as he leans onto the back leg. Drives off the backside and gets down the hill as he works downhill. Releases from a higher slot as he goes right after hitter. Easy actions in the delivery as he proved he could repeat his motions. Fastball up to 76 mph and mixed in a breaking ball showing 12-to-6 movements. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced before working into a low leg lift trigger. Strength in the hands present as he generates big time bat speed. Looks to pepper the middle of the field as he stays through the baseball upon impact. Showcased some power as well into the pull-side gap. Outstanding Student. Named to Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
