Brayden Woods is a 2020 SS/2B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Centennial. Medium with a slender build and athleticism throughout. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Fields the ball out in front with clean glove actions. Slightly uphill and higher effort release. Stays accurate to the bag topping out at 80 MPH. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and hands back at load. Upper half swing looking to drive the ball to the pull side. Can works contact to all fields. Secondary righthanded pitcher with an easy effort rocker step delivery into a leg lift to the belt. Slight crossfire actions down the mound. Short arm circle in the back and into a three-quarter slot. Stays around the zone with the fastball topping out at 76 MPH. Change of pace with the curveball through an 11-to-5 shape. Excellent student as well.
