Christian (CJ) Zwahlen is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Laguna Niguel, CA who attends Dana Hills. Big and strong athletic build, full hands over head delivery, stays tall over the rubber with occasional drift towards the plate, full long arm action in back coming to a 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release but controls it well. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, maintained his velocity well, turns over his fastball for occasional arm side running action. Change up was his best secondary pitch this outing, nice fading action with good tunneling to his fastball. Tended to slow his body and arm on a big and slow 11/5 curveball. Threw strikes and mixed his pitches well. Excellent student.
