Kayson Cunningham is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-9 158 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 6.98 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and plays under control, softness to hands out front at the ball and picks it cleanly, balanced on the charge play with body control and shows lateral range, quick arm with strength and carry across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open and balanced set up with high hands at the plate. Smooth movements in the box, shows looseness to wrists and quickness to hands with advanced barrel control through the zone and the ability to manipulate it well. Consistent barreled contact to all fields and swung it well in live action, some jump with carry to all parts of the field. Disruptive on the bases as well with instincts. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 14u PG Select Festival.
