Easton Harris is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Washington, IL who attends Washington Comm. Recorded a 6.82 in the 60-yard dash. The primary shortstop rounds the ball well with clean footwork as he funnels it out front with a quick and clean exchange out of a three-quarter arm slot. Harris creates good angles on the ball and accurately throws across the diamond with great arm strength at 91 mph. A right-handed hitter steps into the plate with a slightly open, upright stance and a simple leg lift trigger. He stays through the ball with quick hands and good barrel control working the ball gap-to-gap with good pop off the back. The secondary right-handed pitcher moves from a full windup with a long side-step into a well-balanced high leg lift with good explosion and lateral movement to the plate. Harris has a quick arm out of a three-quarter arm slot showcasing great downhill action on the fastball with late life cutting across the plate. He has a smooth and easy arm action topping 87 mph while developing the release point for the breaking ball. Great student.
