Jonathan Griggs is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-10 210 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Walker. Strong and stocky catcher's build, especially in the lower half. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle behind the plate, has quick lower half actions and comes out of his crouch well, gains ground into his throws, quick transfers, solid arm strength, received the ball well in the games. Right handed hitter, sets up in a crouched and narrow stance with a hanging leg raise trigger, long and lifting swing with mid field contact, not getting to his lower half strength consistently, has the strength to continue to develop as a hitter. Good student with a verbal commitment to Wofford.
