Julian Mungarro is a 2018 C/RHP with a 6-1 199 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends Richard Gahr HS. Solid athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base but is short to the ball with quick hands, good hip shift into contact to help generate bat speed, gets good leverage at contact and the ball comes off the barrel well, showed his power potential both in BP and in games, battles at the plate and can foul off tough pitches. 7.33 runner, shows good athleticism behind the plate, gets rid of the ball quickly with good carry to his throws, 1.89 best pop time.
