2020 Southeast Prospect Showcase
Colin Houck is a 2023 SS/RHP, 3B, IF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Showed good speed with a 6.98 second sixty. A primary shprtstop with a large physical frame showing strength throughout the build. showcased smooth action on the infield with good feel for the glove and a strong accurate arm at 88 mph across the diamond. On the mound he works with good tempo attacking hitters with a fastball in the 80-83 mph range from a high three-quarters arm slot with down hill plane, also mixed in a solid breaking ball for strikes in the low 70's. At the plate his righthanded swing showcased good bat speed with lift in the bat path working gap to gap with easy pop off the barrel and an 88 mph exit velocity. Named to the 2020 Southeast Showcase Top Prospects list. Excellent student.
