Omar Diaz Navarro is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends FL HS For Accel. Learners (North). Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, has a simple swing approach with a short swing and little wasted movement, handles the barrel well and hits the ball where it's pitched, made very good contact in games and picked up multiple hits, limited intent to drive the ball but squares it up every time. 7.09 runner, young defensive actions in the outfield with a long arm action and developing arm strength. Also pitched, open front side with a slow paced delivery. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, soft curveball. Good student.
