Luis Garcia is a 2021 SS/MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Medium build with some present physicality and plenty of room to still fill out as he continues to develop, posted a 6.85 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, fields out in front and shows some softness to his glove work. Glove is solid to both his left and right. Is accurate across the diamond from multiple slots. From the outfield, is meticulous with his reads off the bat, fields off to the side, simple mechanics that take care of the baseball. Clean transfer, strong arm, throws possess great carry to the plate. Was gunned at 88 mph in the outfield workout. At the plate, is a switch hitter with a similar looking stance from both sides of the plate. Open and wide stance with a simple stride trigger from both sides. Slightly shorter stroke from the right side of the plate. At his best when working through the middle of the field. Power tool will continue to develop as his build improves.
