Isaac Marte is a 2019 2B/SS with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian HS. Short frame with an athletic build and broadness to shoulders. Room to fill out. Ran a 6.52 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Solid actions and moves well in all directions. Glove work is clean and fields with soft hands. Very strong arm with carry across the diamond. Very athletic movements and can throw from multiple slots. Throws topped out at 90 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an upright and even stance. Hands start high with a small hanging load for timing. Handles the barrel well and can square up the ball with consistency. Line drive barrel plane with the ability to hit to all fields. Simple and short swing path. Good student as well. Named to the 2018 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.
