Max Murray Jr is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Hagerty. Big and strong athletic build. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well for the position and has athleticism, has plenty of arm strength. Also plays some third base and is workable there, fields the well and throws well charging. Left handed hitter, starts from a medium base with a high back elbow load, swings hard and gets very good separation, looking to pull and lift, creates back spin and carry, power potential is definitely there. Also pitched and has potential at the next level as a two-way player. Works from the stretch with a simple delivery. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with big ride up to 22" IVB, also threw a short and tight slider with good spin and some depth. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Central Florida.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
