Marshall Williams is a 2021 SS/C, BHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Sunnyslope. Medium slender build with projectable size to grow. Posted a 7.39 second sixty yard dash time. Primary shortstop, gets low and stays low as he works through the baseball, understands footwork and puts himself into good positions to field the ball. Moves well into either hole and glove work is solid to both sides as well. Transfer and release is quick across the diamond, was gunned at 81 mph from short. Behind the dish, has a wider base with a low set up and fells free and loose with his throwing motion. Catching actions are raw and undeveloped and have plenty of room to strengthen. Posted a 2.11 second pop time. At the plate, is a switch hitter, slightly open and tall from the left side of the plate. Possesses some quickness to his hands, still understanding his timing but hands work well to the ball. From the right side, similar stance with a leg lift trigger. Slightly more length on this side of the plate but finds barrel well with consistency. Good whip through the zone from both sides.
