Brandon Cooper is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Ann Arbor, MI who attends Huron. Medium frame with an athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Showed athletic actions with smooth strides while running a 6.74 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to baseball well with smooth actions. Creates some momentum while working through baseball into exchange. Creates a long arm circle at separation and releases from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws generate uphill carry to the bag with accuracy. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, slightly open stance and simple toe tap trigger. Front side produces slight coil at load producing solid torque. Uses lower half well while launching to contact with good shift. Quick hands to contact on a loose path that produces solid bat speed through extension. Flashed the ability to turn barrel to baseball with strength creating occasional loud contact to the pull side gap. Good student.
