Hunter Possehl is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-6 205 lb. frame from Venice, FL who attends Venice Senior HS. Recorded a 7.59 second 60-yard dash time. Tall and lanky frame with substantial projection remaining in the build. Primary left-handed pitcher with a lower three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped out at 83 mph and showed late sink to the pitch. Pretty compact and repeatable windup and filled up the strike zone. Tough slider that was deadly against left-handed hitters and when dropped on the back foot of right-handed hitters. Flashed a changeup as well. Athletic on the mound and moves off it well. Arm stroke is free and easy and everything points to bigger velocity to come. Arm strength plays from secondary position of first base. Left-handed hitter with some hand quickness and a narrow, open start. Has some strength at contact and leverages the ball well and can show some power to the pull side. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
