Christian Vazquez is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Escuela Ladislao Martinez. Solid athletic build with good present strength. Side step delivery with deep stabbing arm action in back coming to a high 3/4's to 3/4's arm slot, best at the higher slots. Primary fastball pitcher, topped out at 88 mph, creates good plane to the plate, fastball mostly straight. Rare sliders, threw 3-4 but picked up strike outs on three of them with some tightness and good shape, needs to throw this pitch more, has better command of it than his fastball. Tools are there if he learns to mix two good pitches and fill up the zone. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
