2019 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Eli Meredith is a 2020 OF/MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.64 seconds. Switch-hitter, sets up with very low hand set, turns barrel on the ball well, has lift in swing with quick stroke to the ball, good strength pull-side, showed hitting tools from both sides of the plate, solid contact skills. Primary outfielder, moves easily to the ball and showed athleticism, fields cleanly and works through the ball, footwork stands out, clocked up to 85 mph on throws with very good carry. Also took infield reps, plays shallow, shows athleticism through movements and lateral agility, comes through well and stays balanced, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Named to 2019 Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List, good student.
