Blake Brookins is a 2023 OF/1B with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Palmetto Bay, FL who attends Miami Palmetto. Big and strong athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a busy hand load and a big shoulder coil to start his swing, long and strong swing with good present bat speed, works gap to gap with plenty of lift in his swing, chance to have top of the scale raw power in the future. Runs well for his size, 6.80 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields to the side with a long transition into throwing, developing arm strength, left field/first base tools moving forward. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
