2020 PG Underclass All American Games
Cole Ketchum is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-1 191 lb. frame from West Point, MS who attends Heritage Academy. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Simple turn and throw delivery, has good pace to the plate, arm is loose and easy coming through, 3/4's arm slot. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph with more there in the future, worked both sides of the plate well with his fastball with occasional running action. Both his curveball and change up were quality offerings. Threw his change up frequently to left handed hitters with arm speed and plus dive and sink at times. Curveball had tight spin when he doesn't drop his slot and stays on top of it. Three pitch starter profile with very good command potential. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
