Steven Kinnally is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Orangeburg, NY who attends Pearl River High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, has additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 4.88 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball and shows good energy through actions, fields the ball out front, gains momentum through release, full arm action with an over-the-top release, shows whip to arm and present strength to throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Full swing path with natural leverage at point of contact, finds the barrel and shows a solid launch angle out front. Hands work well through swing, shows smoothness coming through the zone with hard jump off the barrel when squared up. Named to Northeast Indoor-NJ Top Prospect List. Very good student.
