Joseph Encarnacion is a 2017 SS with a 6-2 173 lb. frame from Queens, NY who attends Middle College High School At Laguardia. Tall very athletic build, has good present strength with plenty of room for more. Right handed hitter, comfortable spread stance in the box, swings hard and creates good bat speed, stays on line well and gets extended through contact, good flow through contact and has the bat speed and leverage to make the ball jump hard, lots of projection in his body and swing. 7.06 runner, arm strength is best tool defensively, gets very good on line carry when he's on top at his release, projectable arm strength, foot work is still young at the ball, third base likely future. Has lots of physical tools to develop.
