Walker Bordovsky is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Victoria, TX who attends Victoria West HS. Large frame with broad shoulders and room to add additional strength to the build. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step rocker into the delivery. Stays tall on the backside with a leg lift at the waist. Full arm swing with a three-quarter arm slot on release. Rocks onto the backside and lands slightly open. Easy release and releases out in front. Creates short arm side run to the fastball that topped out at 86 mph. Ball comes out of the hand cleanly and showed a short curveball with 11/5 shape. Tight spin and has some depth to the pitch. Slight gather on the backside and has good feel for the curveball. Could get more out of the lower half and creates angle to the fastball. More velocity in the tank. Secondary outfielder with a quick arm and shorter arm action. Excellent arm strength recorded up to 91 mph. Short steps to the ball and fields out in front. Righthanded hitter with an even stance. High hand set with a low back elbow and a leg lift trigger through the shift into contact. Hits the ball out in front and comes off the barrel well. Linear swing path with an upper half dominant swing. Verbal commitment to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Excellent student.
