Tulio Ortiz is a 2019 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from San Lorenzo, PR who attends San Lorenzo HS. Slender athletic build, lots of physical projection. Very good runner, 6.59 in the sixty, obvious centerfield speed on defense, young footwork through the ball with developing arm strength and throwing fundamentals. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a rotational upper body swing, limited lower half use, handles the barrel well and makes soft contact to all fields, will improve as a hitter with additional strength. Good student.
