Wyatt Tennant is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Ringgold, GA who attends Ringgold HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, up-tempo delivery with a high leg lift, short stride down mound, compact and sound mechanics overall on the mound. Quick and short arm action through the backside, worked to a high three-quarters release point and able to create nice plane on his fastball. Topped out at 83 mph, shows running life through the zone and can work both sides of the plate, maintained velocity out of the stretch. Curveball shows 1-7 shape with bite and depth at 71 mph, maintains arm speed well on changeup at 74 mph and creates deception. Good athlete off mound and fields position well. Strong arm from the outfield on throws, sound actions with quick and clean arm stroke, sound transfer, accurate throws with carry. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open and narrow stance, high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Remains short to the ball with swing path and shows quickness to hands with occasional lift at contact; occasionally gets around the ball and onto front side early, selective approach. Good student.
