Donavan Noble is a 2020 SS/IF with a 5-9 168 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep. Shows some good speed and athleticism, running a 7.00 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and build. Rounds the ball well with clean footwork and very fast hands. Shows clean glove actions with a deeper funnel in and the ability to work well through the backhand. Has developing arm strength, making accurate throws across the diamond at 78 miles per hour. Has a spread, no stride stance at the plate, with a level path through the zone. Flashes good jump off the barrel at times, with present bat speed and a high-contact, all fields approach. Has a linear and on-time shift to contact, and recorded an 83 mile per hour exit velocity.
