Daniel Plank is a 2019 SS/OF, MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Trenton, FL who attends Trenton. Small build, young and skinny frame with plenty of growing still to do. Ran a 6.87 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, good actions in the infield with playable footwork and looks part, average arm across the diamond. Also took reps in the outfield, aggressive to the ball attacking the ball quickly, playable hands and transfers, works through the ball gaining ground into throws, similar arm strength as in the infield topping out at 77 mph from both the outfield and across the diamond. Lefthanded hitter, slightly open stance, shifts weight well into contact but tends to be late, inside hand path to ball, downhill barrel plane, patient approach, could work on more consistent barreled contact and add strength for more pop off of the barrel.
