Julian Domenech is a 2020 3B/OF, RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Hunter College High School. Medium, broad shouldered build with present strength throughout frame. Ran a 5.33 40-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front and shows nice glove skills, looks to come through the backhand, some bend at waist, three-quarters release point on throws across diamond and shows accuracy to first base. Also pitched, short side step with a higher leg lift above belt at balance point; fuller arm stroke with a high three-quarters release point. Coil at top of balance point, fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly true in life but flashed running action, slight effort. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow away from body; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing and gets closed prior to contact. Swings with intent and stays short to the ball with a full finish through point of contact. Quickness to barrel and looks to elevate the ball out front, best contact when on time with barrel, showed comfort working the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.
