Dominick Bello is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Oak Ridge, NJ who attends Pope John XXIII. Recorded a 7.65 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, well-proportioned frame with room to fill out and add more strength. Primary catcher; slightly side-saddled stance with fairly soft receiving hands, quick step and replace footwork out of crouch and quick release. Recorded developing arm strength up to 68 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even based stance with higher hand set and leg lift trigger. Fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with developing feel for the barrel that will improve with better timing. Middle-of-the field approach with the ability to get the barrel out occasionally and flash gap-to-gap power potential. Plenty of projection remaining with solid fundamentals and tools to improve as he physically mature. Good Student.
