Ariel Antigua is a 2023 SS with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Compact athletic build with good present strength for his size. Right handed hitter, hits from a hanging leg raise load, gets his foot down on time for the most part, has quick hips, well connected compact swing with plenty of extension, has some serious juice for his size when pulling the ball. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Has very quick and clean hands in the middle infield defensively, moves well side to side and has a quick release, may profile best at second base in the future. Good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
