2015 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Tyler Dralle is a 2016 OF/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends John F Kennedy HS. Good present build with medium frame and good athleticism. At bat, employs a square stance with high leg lift trigger, rotational swing with good bat speed. Wraps bat at start with some stiffness throughout swing, makes contact to all fields, could utilize lower half more in swing. Worked out both in the infield and outfield during defensive drills. Showed very good arm strength at both spots, topping at 89 MPH from outfield. Showcased athletic actions in the outfield with quick transfer/release, fielded well, overall very smooth and fluid. Good carry on throws across diamond in infield, fields well, actions get a bit stiff at times, overall solid footwork. Ran a 7.19 60 yard dash. Very good student.
