Chase Domurat is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 5-9 137 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley Northwest HS. Medium frame, slender build, plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to mature. From the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot, simple delivery, easy arm action, long arm circle in back. 1/7 curveball shape, good feel for it. occasionally gets 12/6 shape. Changeup has cutting action down in zone.Good job of mixing up. Keeps hitters off balance with secondary pitches, good tempo in delivery, not much effort or energy. From the outfield, smooth actions and aggressive through the baseball. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance that closes on stride. Opposite field approach, developing strength. Good student.
