Max Viera is a 2020 SS/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Greenwood Lake, NY who attends Millbrook. Medium, athletic frame with broadness to shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 4.90 40-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows quick-twitch to actions and remains low working towards and through the ball, hands play well out front and shows a quick transfer and release, effort on throws across but worked on top and repeats actions with solid present arm strength and carry on to first base. Switch-hitter, shows more present bat speed from the right side with a balanced stroke; wide base at start, has ability to create impact at point of contact when on plane. Slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow from the left side, gets extended well out front with occasional lift and shows carry when squared. Good student. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
