Zach Huie is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Huie has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he throws with a short arm action with arm strength up to 80 MPH from the outfield. Huie stays low through the baseball and has quick transfers. At the plate, he starts with an open stance with a high hand set. Huie has a simple swing with good bat speed. He showed good feel for the barrel and he has a well timed swing. Huie swings on a line drive plane and he showed some pop. He has good hitting tools and he gets good extension. Huie pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He gets some extension out front with some sink on his fastball. Huie throws an 11/5 curveball with developing shape and spin. Excellent student, named to Top Prospect Team.
