Gavin Harmon is a 2017 C/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Alexander HS. Medium athletic build, projects well physically, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, wrapped barrel start, rotational upper body swing with an inside and low swing path, high loose finish, has some wiry strength and creates some raw bat speed, mid field to opposite field contact, can improve with mechanical swing adjustments. Long and loose arm action, good arm strength for a sophomore, can quicken exchange and footwork, 2.06 best pop time. Also pitched, stays tall and throws downhill from a high 3/4's arm slot, loose out front, upper 70's fastball.
